As New Testament believers we relate to the New Covenant by receiving only in the spiritual blessings of the Covenant, but not the material blessings that are promised to Israel.

Spiritual blessings:

• relationship with God
• forgiveness of sins
• a new mind
• a new heart
• the Holy Spirit

Material blessings:

• restoration to the land
• rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem
• the temple becomes the center of worship again
